Welcome to AirVote (hereinafter referred to as "the App"). We understand the importance of privacy to you and are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information.

Due to the offline nature of the App, we do not collect, store, transmit, or share any of your personal information. Please read this policy carefully.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Personal Information

We do not collect any personally identifiable information, including but not limited to:

• Name, phone number, email address, or other contact information
• Geographic location information
• Contacts, photos, camera, or other sensitive permission data
• Device unique identifiers (such as IMEI, MAC address)

2.2 Voting Data

Votes you create or participate in are stored only locally on your device and transmitted directly between devices via Bluetooth (BLE). No data is uploaded to any server.

2.3 Device Identifier

To enable Bluetooth device discovery and prevent duplicate vote submissions, the App uses a randomly generated device ID. This ID is stored only on the local device, is not associated with any personal information, and is not uploaded to any server.

3. How We Use Information

Since we do not collect your personal information, we do not use your personal information in any way.

Locally stored voting data is only used for:

• Displaying vote content and results on your device
• Synchronizing vote data with nearby devices via Bluetooth
• Preventing duplicate votes from the same device

4. Information Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, rent, or share any of your information with third parties.

Voting data is transmitted directly between participating devices via Bluetooth, without going through any intermediate servers.

5. Data Storage and Security

• All data is stored only locally on your device
• You can delete voting data within the app at any time
• Uninstalling the app will clear all local data
• Bluetooth data transmission is only effective within device communication range

6. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Since the App does not collect any personal information, there are no children's privacy concerns.

7. Permission Explanations

7.1 Bluetooth Permission

Used to discover nearby devices and transmit voting data. This is a core function permission required by the App.

7.2 Location Permission (Some Android Versions)

On some Android versions, Bluetooth scanning requires location permission. We do not collect or use your location information.

7.3 Notification Permission

Used to send notifications when new votes are received or vote status updates occur. You can disable this permission in system settings.

8. In-App Purchases

The App may include in-app purchase functionality. Purchase transactions are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play. We do not collect your payment information.

9. Updates to Privacy Policy
